Jamaica:
Jamaica is the most diverse Caribbean Island for destination wedding packages. Jamaica has great flight itineraries from the U.S, and there is usually a good deal to be found on room rates and on wedding packages. Getting legally married in Jamaica is very easy as it only requires a 48 hour residency period and weekend arrivals count! In Jamaica, you will get your choice of three unique locales and experiences when planning your wedding.
Montego Bay
In Montego Bay, you will have many great all-inclusive resorts as well as some nice stretches of white sand beach. Montego Bay has historical sites, plus will also give you some great shopping and night life, with many local bars and night clubs as well. Montego Bay is ideal for destination weddings, because it is close to the airport and when you have guests staying for only 3 nights (on average) it allows them to get the most time at your resort.
Ocho Rios
Ocho Rios will give you a more mountainous and tropical feel. Ocho Rios is home to the famous Dunns River Falls, the famous Bobsled ride, zip lining through the jungle, mountain climbing, and so much more! This area is great for adventure lovers who want activities at their fingertips and tends to be a more moderately priced area of the island. The beaches do not offer endless stretches of walkable beach, but if you love tropical gardens and natural wonders, Ocho Rios will be perfect.
If you are a beach lover and you love sunsets, then Negril is the right place for you. In Negril, most of the resorts are all set along the world famous seven mile beach. This stretch of beach really does give you visions of Paradise. The sand is a perfect powder white, the water is clear and turquoise blue, like your own Caribbean pool. Negril is a perfect example of a laidback, Bob Marley Caribbean town, with plenty to do, including going to the local markets to shop, visiting Margaritaville, or going to world famous Ricks Cafe to watch the cliff divers dive into the ocean.
