All-Inclusive Honeymoon Packages: Sandals White House: Day 2
Today, Lou and I were able to get up and play a great game of tennis today on the excellent tennis courts here at the White House all-inclusive honeymoon resort. There are three really nice tennis courts and an area to borrow tennis rackets and balls. The tennis rackets were very nice quality, but they need to stock more new tennis balls. The fitness center has an assortment of professional equipment. There are treadmills, ellipticals, dumbells, a smith machine with barbells, and some really nice circuit machines. There are also fresh towels and water available as well. We got in a quick workout, (I did) Lou didn't want to stop, because he was trying to make up for all the good food and drinks we have been enjoying! Here is a short video of the fitness and tennis facilities.
The Omelettes!
There are basically two restaurants opened for breakfast every morning, Eleanor's and the Bayside. The Bayside, serves a breakfast buffet, and Eleanor's is table service. The two restaurants open around 7am and run untill 10:30am. It was getting a little late so we went to the Bayside for the breakfast buffet. I really wanted to have a sit down breakfast and be served, but the buffet saved us time. Lou actually prefers the buffet, because he loves the variety of food there, and the omelette station. I have to admit, I love the omelette station as well. Sandals' chefs know how to make great omelettes. There was also a smoothie station as well. Lou and I both got strawberry, mango, banana, smoothies.
The Beach at Sandals Whitehouse

We were able to go down to the beach, and find a nice beach palapa to lie out on, and just take a nap or read. Lou always likes to read a new book on vacation. The beach here at Sandals White House is almost as beautiful as the famous Seven Mile Beach in Negril Jamaica. A tropical storm came through on Sunday, and because of that, the water is a little cloudier than it usually is. When you travel in August, there is always the chance of bad weather affecting your experience. Normally it is crystal clear and turquoise blue. I am hoping tomorrow, the water will be a little clearer. We are hoping to go snorkeling in the next couple of days, and it is so much better when the water is clear.
White Party
There are a lot of great resort activities and entertainment going on tonight. After our great dinner at Eleanor’s, the fanciest restaurant at Sandals White House, We went to the Resort's "White Party" This is a more elegant affair, where all the guests dress in white, and there is music and dancing. If you don't have white, the gift shop will be more than happy to sell you a white shirt, pants, or dress, to wear to the party. Lou and I didn't wear white, and we were able to participate just fine. There was a great local band that came in and provided the dance music. Lou and I had a lot of fun, and the Chicago Honey Bears, from the show last night, were dancing and having fun with the guests.
The Chocolate Buffet!!!!
Sandals also have a great event that they do once a week, called a chocolate buffet. This begins as the "White Party" is ending. Seems a little Ironic, that there is an event where everyone is dressed in white, and then eating everything dipped in chocolate. Basically, everything is either made out of chocolate, or can be dipped in a chocolate fountain. There was even chocolate bread, with homemade hot chocolate!
Lou and I decided to let the crowd thin out a bit, before we indulged in the chocolate goodness. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend waiting until the crowd thins out when you're there, because the chocolate treats were also thined out as well. Everything was delicious, but of course a piece of cardboard would taste great dipped in chocolate too!
The Piano Man and The Big Bamboo
After the chocolate buffet, we went up to the Martini Bar. The Martini Bar has a great “sing-a-long” piano bar where all of us sat around the piano and had some great fun singing and being entertained by the piano players. Usually there is only one piano player, but we had three. One of the piano players, was very talented and led us in a song called the "Big Bamboo". The song was a lot of fun. When the piano bar is done, they shut the lights off and turn the Martini Bar into a disco, with a great Dj.
They call it the “late night party”. We danced for a little while, but came back to our room. Lou wanted to watch some TV with me, but by the time he came to bed. I fell asl…………..LOL
